Thanks for visiting the shop. Traditionally Hawaiian surnise shells were reserved for Hawaiian royalty and exchanged as currency. In keeping with the traditional practices, the design process uses canoe lashings which crosses over one another to make it secure. Additionally there are other creations inspired from the sea.
